| This club features a nine hole regulation course, but an additional five holes are being constructed and should be completed in April of 1998. The yardage indicated is for nine holes. Once the new holes are completed, golfers will play the original nine holes, then the first four again before finishing with the new holes to complete an eighteen hole round. The new holes were designed by Ron Forse. This course's fairways are narrow and lined with trees on the left. The greens are very large and undulating, and water hazards come into play on a few holes. In addition, there are many strategically-placed grass and sand bunkers throughout the design. When the course is completed, the front nine will be easier than the back nine because the back will have more hazards and elevation changes. The most difficult hole to play for the ladies is #5, a 423-yard, par 5, requiring consecutive uphill shots to the green. The men's most difficult hole is #3, a 214-yard, par 3. The green fees indicated are for guests not being accompanied by a club member. This club is fifteen minutes from Connecticut's gambling haven, Foxwood. |
